Erika Flores

Erika Flores, Administrative Assistant / Marketing Director of Young & Chic LLP, is a journalist with a strong background in anchoring and reporting across all media platforms. Erika is a dynamic reporter with the capacity to work in any aspect of news including immigration, politics, education, health, entertainment, and sports. She has covered major events including protest marches, elections, natural disasters, and sporting events.

Erika, who has more than 25 years of experience in the media industry, is an Emmy award winner for reporting, producing, and writing a special series.

During Latino Heritage Month in 2024, she was recognized by the City of Los Angeles for her dedication and exemplary work as a journalist. In 2017, she was recognized as one of the most influential Latina Journalists in Los Angeles by CCNMA: Latino Journalists of California. Erika has been honored with multiple awards from the California State Assembly, Los Angeles County, and the City of Los Angeles for outstanding contributions to community betterment.

Erika obtained a BA degree in Business Administration from Instituto Tecnologico de Morelia, Michoacan, Mexico in 1997.

During her career, she has built strong relationships with community, organization, and political leaders. At Y&C, Erika is using her communication, interpersonal and digital literacy skills to enhance clients’ law firm experience and engage Y&C with the community.
